Main changes
Organized the handling in case you feel ill.
As soon as you become aware of cold-like symptoms such as a fever, sore throat, cough, fatigue, or loss of smell/taste, do not go to class/work and report to your faculty/department. If you visit a clinic and take/took a PCR test (including antigen test) on suspicion of infection, please report the results to your faculty/department and the Health Administration Center, as it will be an important basis to decide the timing of your return to class/work.
Basic quarantine period
You must meet the both criteria 1 and 2 below to return to class/work.?
- At least 7 days have passed since the onset of symptoms. (7 days with the onset date as Day 0)
- Without medicine, including fever-reducing medications, at least 72 hours have passed since fever subsided. Other symptoms such as cough, lethargy, shortness of breath and so on are improving.
Health Observation
Please download the “Health Observation Report Form” and record your physical condition and temperature. (Please continue recording from the day of onset to the stay-at-home lifted day)
The correspondence of cases 1. and 2. shall be as follows.
- In the case that the result of PCR (quantitative antigen test) test is negative at a clinic. (not including the qualitative antigen test)
If the following 1) and 2) are met, it is possible to lift the stay-at-home quarantine.
1) Two weeks have passed since the last vaccination after multiple vaccinations.
2) The fever subsided without taking any medicines to relieve symptoms, including fever-reducing medications. Other symptoms such as sore throat, cough, lethargy, shortness of breath and so on are improving.
To lift the stay-at-home quarantine, it is required to submit the negative result of PCR (quantitative antigen test) test or a certificate of medical examination (a receipt of medical institution is effective) with vaccination record to the Health Administration Center.
- In cases other than 1.
It is possible to lift the stay-at-home quarantine if you satisfy criteria of,【Return to Class Criteria Checklist after Symptoms Subside for students】/【Return to Work Criteria Checklist after Symptoms Subside for staff】.? Please fill in and submit the checklist to the Health Administration Center before returning to class/work.
However, the following activities should be carried out after 7 days have passed.
(1) Hospital training or educational training
(2) Group discussion or group work
(3) Interviewing/meeting with people at high-risk, such as those with underlying medical conditions
